Yes. You can pause your subscription anytime, for any reason, through your Oana account.
How pausing works:
- Log into your account and select the subscription you want to pause.
- Choose a pause length typically anywhere from 30 days to several months, depending on your situation.
- Your shipments and billing stop during the pause period.
- Your treatment plan, medical history, and clinician relationship remain intact. Pausing isn't the same as canceling.
- When the pause ends, your subscription resumes automatically — or you can extend the pause, switch medications, or cancel at that point.
When pausing makes sense:
- You're traveling or relocating and don't want shipments arriving while you're away.
- You have a supply of medication on hand and want to delay your next shipment.
- You're managing a temporary situation pregnancy planning, a procedure that requires stopping medication, a change in income — and want to step back without ending the treatment relationship.
- You're not sure whether you want to continue and want time to think before committing to canceling.
- You're switching between medications or considering a protocol change.
Pausing vs canceling:
- Pausing keeps your account, your clinician relationship, and your treatment history intact. Resuming is easy and doesn't require restarting the intake process.
- Canceling closes your active subscription. If you decide to return later, you can — but depending on how long you've been away, you may need to update your medical intake before your clinician can write a new prescription.
For most situations where you're not sure about continuing, pausing is the better option — it gives you flexibility without losing the work you've already done with your Oana clinician.
