Will I be charged before I'm approved for treatment?

No. You won't be charged for medication until your Oana clinician has reviewed your case and approved your treatment plan.

Here's the sequence:

Step 1: You submit your medical intake. You complete the intake (or add a treatment to your cart and complete the intake at checkout). At this point, your payment information is captured but you're not charged yet.

Step 2: Your Oana clinician reviews your case. Within 24 hours typically. Your clinician evaluates the patterns you described, your medical history, and any current medications. They either approve your treatment, request more information, or recommend Oana isn't the right fit.

Step 3: If your treatment is approved, your card is charged. The charge happens when your clinician approves your treatment — meaning the prescription is being written and your medication is going to ship. You see the charge in your account at this point.

Step 4: Your medication ships. Free shipping, discreet packaging, typical delivery in 5-7 business days from intake submission.

What happens if your treatment isn't approved:

  • No charge. If your clinician determines that Oana isn't the right fit for your case, or that a different treatment is more appropriate than what you initially requested, you don't get charged for the original treatment.
  • Your clinician may recommend an alternative. If a different Oana medication is a better fit, your clinician will message you through your account. If you choose to proceed with the alternative, you'd be charged for that treatment instead. If you decide not to proceed, no charge happens.
  • You can ask questions before deciding. If your clinician recommends something other than what you initially expected, you can message them through your account to discuss before committing. No timer, no pressure.

What about the medical intake itself?

The medical intake is free. You don't pay anything to complete the intake or to have your case reviewed. The charge only happens when your treatment is approved and ready to ship.

Why this matters:

A common concern with telehealth subscriptions is the "subscription trap" — being charged before you really know what you're agreeing to. Oana's billing model is designed to prevent this. You see the price upfront on the product page. The intake is free. The charge happens only after your treatment is approved. And cancellation is one click in your account.
