Do I need a PCOS diagnosis before signing up?

No, you don't.

A formal PCOS diagnosis isn't required to start with Oana. Many of the women Oana works with arrive without one — sometimes because their symptoms were dismissed by previous doctors, sometimes because the pattern hadn't been named for them yet, sometimes because nobody ever offered a thorough workup.

When you complete the assessment (or the medical questionnaire at checkout), a licensed Oana clinician reviews what you've shared and evaluates whether the symptoms you described are consistent with PCOS or hormonal imbalance symptoms — and whether treatment is appropriate.

A note on what Oana clinicians do and don't do: they evaluate symptom patterns, determine whether treatment is appropriate, and prescribe the medications that fit your case. They don't provide a formal PCOS diagnosis in the way a full clinical workup would — meaning bloodwork, hormone panels, and pelvic imaging. If a formal diagnosis matters to you specifically — for insurance reasons, for fertility planning, or just for your own peace of mind — your Oana clinician can advise on next steps with your primary care provider or OB-GYN.

The short version: you don't need a label to start treatment. If you've been carrying the pattern without a name for it, that's exactly the situation Oana is built for.
