What if a treatment isn't right for me?

It happens, and it's something Oana is built to handle.

A few of the most common situations:

A side effect is bothering you. Message your clinician. Many side effects are temporary and resolve as your body adjusts — most PCOS treatments take 6–12 weeks to fully settle in, and some get worse before they get better (acne purges, GLP-1 nausea, hair shedding from minoxidil). Others can be managed by adjusting the dose or timing. Your clinician will work with you on the right next step.

The treatment isn't working the way you'd hoped. This is more common in the first few weeks than people expect — most treatments need time to show results. If you're past the expected timeline and you're not seeing change, your clinician can adjust the dose, switch the protocol, or recommend a different approach.

You want to stop entirely. You can pause or cancel your subscription anytime through your account — no phone call, no hoops. If you've received medication that didn't work for you, the refund policy covers some situations.

Something in your life has changed. A new diagnosis, a pregnancy, a new medication from another doctor — let your clinician know. They'll adjust your Oana plan around it.

The short version: an Oana treatment is a starting point, not a contract. Adjustments are normal. The goal is finding what actually works for your symptoms — not getting you onto a protocol and walking away.
